First Year Mathematics Course
Initially, students follow a common course. Please refer to the table below for a list of the topics/activities in the course. The work is differentiated to suit the needs and abilities of the individual. Towards the end of term 2, students are assessed and set into broad band ability groups in order for students to study at the most appropriate level. Estimated key assessment dates are: December - year group assessment May - end of year assessment. |
